Bob Fox in 'An Evening with the WarHorse Songman'

After completing 18 months in the West End production of ‘WarHorse’, folk singer extraordinaire Bob Fox returned to his roots.

Join him as he performs the songs from the multi award winning smash hit WarHorse, with additional material from his own personal repertoire, a number of stories and songs built up from his forty year career in the music industry, developing his skills in the performance of folk song in all its various forms.

Hailing from County Durham in the North East of England, his music is deeply influenced by the working class culture and industrial folk song from that area.

Twice nominated as Folk Singer of the Year at the BBC Folk Awards, Bob Fox has long been a favourite on the live circuit, touring extensively throughout the world, both as a solo artist and alongside musical heavyweights such as: Stu Luckley, Ralph McTell, Billy Mitchell and Fairport Covention.

This new tour will offer Bob’s large and loyal fan base the first chance in over eighteen months to enjoy his warm rich voice and virtuoso finger-style guitar talent, with witty banter thrown in for good measure.

Bob has played the role of songman in WarHorse for the past three years, both in the West End and currently in the UK/Ireland and South Africa touring production.

This event is a great opportunity to see one of the finest exponents of storytelling through song.
