'Thespis' - a newsletter of amateur productions in the area

'Thespis' is a newsletter, produced by John Miles, of all the information on amateur drama productions in the Torbay and South Devon area.

The aim is for local groups to share information, help each other with casting, prop loans and to avoid clashes of production choices and dates.

If you are interested in taking part in amateur drama shows then this is the place to check out which groups exist, what shows are coming up and when auditions are being held.

Have fun on the stage or behind the scenes.

Update  13.6.26

Hello, again. 

There's so much going on out there I'm finding it hard to keep up...... or is it something to do with my age?!

I was at Teignmouth Players AGM this week, and was impressed by the positive attitude of the members to do their utmost to keep the society afloat, now they are moving out of The Ice Factory.  

Included is a summary of their proposed schedule for the next eighteen months. Please check to see if it's correct, TP. 

The 'Bijou' Agatha has started at The Palace, running three nights a week until the end of July.
