Dual Theatre and European Arts Company present
‘Beau Brummell - An Elegant Madness’
by Emmy award winning writer Ron Hutchinson

Winter 1819. The most stylish man of his day may still be more interested in cuffs, collars and creases than matters of life and death but now he lives in a madhouse in Calais with his valet, determined to relive past glories.

George Bryan Brummell, known as Beau, is convinced that once the Prince of Wales (now King George IV) hears of and sees his plight he will be restored to his former glory and position in court. Today the Prince is coming to Calais!

European Arts Company brought the superb ‘Trials of Oscar Wilde’ to Brixham not long ago, prior to going into the West End.  A rare opportunity to savour a brilliant comic drama performed by first rate actors.

‘Sean Brosnan mesmerises as the Beau. A spectacle both ludicrous and touching due to Peter Craze’s adroit direction’ - Time Out
